Day by day
Meet your Ethiopian tour guide at Gonder Airport or your hotel in Gonder in the morning.
Drive from Gonder to Sankaber camp, passing the first campsite called Buit Ras along the way.
Spend the night at Sankaber campsite. You may also visit some viewpoints and see endemic species.
Walk from Sankaber to Geech with your Ethiopian tour guide, a trek of about five to six hours. Along the way, you could see many fascinating things, including the big waterfall, river, birds, different plants, and species such as Gelada baboons.
Spend the second night at the Geech site.
Walk from Geech to Aynamada via Imet Gogo with your Ethiopian tour guide; it takes about five to six hours of walking.
As soon as you get to Ambaras, the car will take you to Gonder. The drive takes around four hours via Debark.
