A Day In Addis Ababa
After a convenient hotel or airport pickup, begin the city tour.
Visit one of the best-known sites of the city, the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to the remains of "Lucy," a bipedal hominid who lived 3.2 million years ago and was discovered in 1974.
Explore the Ethnographic Museum located in Addis Ababa University's main campus to collect traditional and contemporary artifacts.
Then have delicious lunch at one of the Ethiopian cultural restaurants with a traditional coffee ceremony.
Head to one of the holiest churches of Ethiopia known as the Holy Trinity church.
See the tomb of Haile Selassie and the fantastic painting of the church.
Later, enjoy amazing views of Ethiopia's capital city from Entoto.
Move on to the final attraction of the day, which will be a trip through Merkato, believed to be the largest open-air market in Africa.
