Description
Embark on a 9-day journey through Ethiopia! Fly to Arba Minch, where you will explore the Dorze village, renowned for its elephant-shaped houses. Then, venture to Jinka, where you will encounter the Konso tribes and their UNESCO heritage terraces. Next, explore Mursi village, known for the distinctive clay plates worn by women, and the Hamer tribe village in Turmi. After that, visit the Yangatom and Karo tribes before heading to Konso. Following that, take a journey to the mesmerizing Erta Ale volcano, where you witness the active lava. Wrap up your adventure as you unwind at Lake Afdera before flying to Addis from Mekelle.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Addis
- We will take you to your hotel for a short rest and take you out of the oldest coffee shop in Addis. Then at about 7 pm, we will take you to a restaurant with live dancing.
- You will witness dance performances from different ethnic groups of the country while enjoying dinner. This is a perfect introduction to the whole tour.

Day 2: Addis - Arba Minch
- Fly to Arba Minch and drive about 45 minutes to Dorze village.
- The Dorze people are known for weaving and having elephant-shaped houses back in town. This day is a market day in Chincha near Dorze.
- We will visit this local Market.

Day 3: Arba Minch - Jinka
- Drive to Jinka, about three hours and 30 minutes, and visit the Konso tribes, rich in history and culture, and their terracing registered as UNESCO heritage.
- The terracing continues to Jinka.
- On the way, we will stop to visit the Arbore tribes and drive to Jinka.
Overnight: Lodge.

Day 4: Jinka - Mursi - Turmi
- Drive from Jinka to the Mursi village through Mago Park and visit the Mursi tribes, known for their women inserting clay plates on their lips.
- Drive back to town and Turmi, a small town of the Hamer people.
- In the evening, we will visit the Hamer tribe village near the town.

Day 5: Turmi - Konso
- Drive to Visit the Yangatom tribes. They are the tallest, and their lifestyle is like the Yangatom of South Sudan.
- On the way back, drive to the other side of the Omo River to visit the most decorated tribes of the area, the Karo tribes, and drive to Konso.
Overnight: Lodge.

Day 6: Konso - Arba Minch - Addis
- Drive from Konso to Arba Minch and make a boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit the crocodiles on the shore of Lake Chamoto.
- We will then drop you at the airport to fly to Addis directly.

Day 7: Mekelle - Dallol
- Here, you begin your Danakil tour with the group. From here, you drive to Hamed Ela, about 280 km drive with a new asphalt road. It is about 3 hours drive.
- In the afternoon, you will start to tour some attractions like the Dallol Mount, just a 40-minute drive from your camping site. The main thing for these days is the spectacular sun at the whole white and spectacular Lake Asale: drinks and fun.

Day 8: Dallol - Erta Ale
- Visit all sites around Dallol, like the colour mounts, salt mountain, and salt plate.
- In the afternoon, we will drive to the Volcano.
- You will have about 45 minutes of hiking. And when it gets dark, we will visit the active lava.
Overnight: camping near the lave lake.

Day 9: Volcano - Mekelle - Addis
- Drive to Mekelle, make a stop at Lake Afdera for a swim, and then continue the journey to Mekelle.
- Conclude the tour by flying back to Addis.
