- Pickup from your hotel and begin the city tour of Addis Ababa.
Visit the National Museum of Ethiopia, one of the best museums in the country. Explore the exhibits, including the famous 3.5 million-year-old fossil of Lucy (Dinkinesh), a hominoid woman of the Australopithecus Afarensis species. The museum also showcases many other artefacts from the pre-Axumite civilization.
Explore Merkato, the largest open-air market in Africa. Wander through the bustling market where a wide variety of goods, from spices to textiles and crafts, are available.
Head to St. George Cathedral, one of the oldest and most significant cathedrals in Addis Ababa. Learn about the history of this landmark religious site.
Drive to Mount Entoto, once the permanent camp of Emperor Menelik II. The area features a drop in altitude and is surrounded by the refreshing scent of Eucalyptus trees. From the top, enjoy a panoramic view of the capital and the surrounding countryside.
