Day 1: Arrival at Asmara
Upon arrival at Asmara International Airport, transfer and check-in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, explore Asmara with your Eritrea tour guide to sightsee the most striking modernist architecture that lines its streets; the city has earned UNESCO World Heritage Site status for its futuristic Italian style buildings after all.

Day 2: Asmara to Debre Bizen Monastery to Asmara
Early in the morning drive towards Nefasit town on the Massawa road.
Start your trek to the Debre Bizen Monastery, dedicated to the legendary Saint Abune Philipos. The monument can only be visited by male pilgrims. You will need to carry a bottle of water in order to avoid dehydration and excessive sweating.

Day 3: Asmara to Debre Sina to Keren
Drive from Asmara to Keren, the second-largest city in Eritrea. 68 km from Asmara, stop at the famous Debre Sina Monastery, carved out of solid rock.
Continue to drive to Keren. Overnight stay at the hotel in Keren.

Day 4: Keren to Asmara
Visit the Italian and Commonwealth war cemeteries.
Explore the famous Mariam Dearit temple, carved out of a Baobab tree.
In the afternoon, drive back to Asmara. Overnight stay at the hotel in Asmara.

Day 5: Asmara City Tour
Walk through the city’s elegant streets. Asmara accommodates over 400 Art Deco buildings officially recognised by UNESCO as a whole as a world heritage.
Late in the evening, transfer to the Airport and depart to your country.
