Tour to Alexandria from Cairo
- Pick up and transfer, cutting across 220 km of the Western desert from Cairo, is Alexandria. The transfer takes about 3 hours. Be led throughout the city by a guide who can answer all of your questions and show you some of the city's most amazing sights.
- Visit the Montazah Summer Palace and walk around and enjoy the Montazah gardens originally built-in 1892.
- Enjoy lunch at your own leisure on the Corniche overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
- Visit the fort and Citadel of Qaitbay, which was built around 1480. It is believed to rest on the site and be built from the Pharos lighthouse's stones.
- The tour ends with a visit to the Catacomb of Komel-Shoqafa. This warren of tombs, chambers and hallways occupies the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt.
- Enjoy a pleasant ride back, where you’ll be promptly dropped off at your hotel in Cairo!
