- The Valley of Queens, which is a site in Egypt, where the wives of pharaohs were buried in ancient times. It was known then as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning "the place of beauty".
- The Village of the workers also known as Deir Al-Medinah is the lone example of a well-preserved Egyptian village near Luxor. Kings and queens did not live here; this was the home of the craftsmen that served them.
- The Temple of HabuIts is the holy ground that was believed to be where the Ogdoad, the four pairs of first primaeval gods, were buried. Medinet Habu was both a temple and a complex of temples dating from the New Kingdom.
