Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Luxor – Dahabiya Embarkation & Luxor Sightseeing

   • Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, Train Station, or Bus Station, you will be met by a representative and transferred to the Dahabiya.
   • Welcome onboard the Dahabiya, enjoy a welcome drink and settle into your cabin.
   • Visit the Valley of the Kings and explore three royal tombs and Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramesses III, which is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. 
   • Onboard the Dahabiya with a full-board meal, including soft drinks.
   • Visit Karnak Temple, one of Egypt's most impressive temple complexes, in the afternoon.
   • Onboard, as you set sail and stop at a quiet spot along the Nile to escape the city noise for dinner.

   Overnight onboard near Luxor.

2. Day 2: Luxor – Hot Air Balloon Ride & Sail to Esna

   • Get on a hot air balloon ride (optional) to enjoy the sunrise over the Nile and the Luxor West Bank. You will have stunning aerial views of the temples and monuments (additional charge).
   • After the balloon ride, return to the Dahabiya for breakfast.
   • After the morning tours, the Dahabiya will sail towards Esna.
   • Enjoy a walking tour to explore local Egyptian villages along the Nile banks. Interact with locals and observe their daily life.
   • Onboard the Dahabiya with full-board meals.

   Overnight near Esna.

3. Day 3: Kom Ombo & Daraw Camel Market

   • Sail towards Kom Ombo after breakfast.
   • Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris.
   • A full-board meal will be served onboard as the Dahabiya continues sailing.
   • Take a tour of the Daraw Camel Market, where you can witness the traditional camel trade. Explore the local village and interact with the people.
   • You can relax and swim on one of the Golden Beaches of the Nile, upon request.
   • The Dahabiya will sail to another quiet location, perfect for relaxation.
   • Have dinner onboard with a serene evening along the Nile.

4. Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing & Optional Tours

   • Sail to Aswan while enjoying breakfast onboard.
   • Visit the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, which gives insight into ancient stone quarrying techniques.
   • Enjoy a full-board meal onboard.
   • Optional Activity:
     • In the Afternoon, take a motorboat tour to the Nubian Village through the islands of the first cataract for $30 per person. Enjoy the scenic views of the Nile and interact with the friendly Nubian community.
     • Visit Philae Temple during daylight for $25 per person or experience the magical Sound and Light Show at Philae Temple for $55 per person in the evening.
   • Have dinner onboard the Dahabiya after the day's activities.

   Overnight onboard in Aswan.

5. Day 5: Departure from Aswan – Optional Abu Simbel Tour

   • Depart for the Abu Simbel Temples (optional) in the early morning. A private coach will transport you to the magnificent temples for $150 per person. This includes your guide and transportation, returning to Aswan by noon.
   • Optional Tours in Aswan:
     • Visit the Nubian Museum, the Nobles' Tombs, Sehel Island (home to the famous Famine Stela), or the Kalabsha Temple. Each site offers unique insights into Aswan's history and culture.
   • After breakfast onboard, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport, Train Station, or Bus Station for your departure.
