Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples Excursion
Visit the temple of Horus at Edfu, located on the west bank of the river Nile in Edfu, Upper Egypt. Originally, it was built during the time of the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BC. See the ancient inscriptions on its walls that talks about ancient language, myths, and religions practised and followed during the Hellenistic period in Egypt. Today, this temple is known as one of the largest temple dedicated to Horus and Hathor of Dendera.
Proceed to see the double temple of Sobek at Kom Ombo or the temple of Kom Ombo, constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty, 180–47 BC. See the temple's unique double design of double courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms.
