Drive to St. Catherine city, which takes about two and a half hours.
Upon arrival, start climbing Moses Mountain at 2:00 am and get down by 7:00 am.
Proceed to visit St. Catherine monastery, named after St. Catherine who lived in Alexandria during the persecution of Christians.
Discover the story of how she was tortured by the Romans for her loyalty to Christianity. They cut off her head. Five Centuries later, a monk saw a vision in which her body was carried by angels and laid on a peak of the mountain in Sinai. Therefore, monks carried her relies to the church which was named for her beside the monastery.
