Itinerary

Alexandria & Cairo
- Meet your Alexandria tour guide at the meeting point and start your day by driving from Cairo to Alexandria in an air-conditioned mini-van (230 km).
- Upon arrival at Alexandria, start with visiting the Catacombs, a famous burial site similar to that type on Rome, holding a masterpiece tomb thought by some scholars for Cleopatra.
- Move on to visit Pompeii Pillar, a high column in a famous Greco-Roman monument site next to the Temple of Serapis, the main god of Alexandria in the Greek era.
- Drive to Qaitbay Fortress, built 1477 CE, over the site of the ancient famous Light House, one of the ancient world’s seven wonders. Break the day with a lunch stop at a local Touristic restaurant.
- End the day by visiting the Library of Alexandria, a modern gigantic library built under the name of the famous Old Library of Alexandria.
