Aswan Tour
Get picked up by an Aswan representative/tour guide from the hotel in Aswan to enjoy a day tour of Aswan.
Start the tour with a High Dam visit, an engineering miracle built in 1960, protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile.
Proceed towards the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. This obelisk is rumoured to have belonged to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of King Tuthmosis II. The queen was the owner of her Temple in the eastern bank of Luxor. Also, it might have belonged to Queen Nefertiti.
Move on to visit the majestic Philae Temple, which was built in Goddess Isis's honour Isis, the chief deity of the island.
Later, be transferred back to the hotel.
