Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara
Get picked up from the hotel by an Egyptologist representative, to enjoy a great excursion to The Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus.
Proceed to visit the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates back to the time of Chephren and Valley Temple.
Move to explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser.
Have your lunch at a local restaurant.
Afterwards, transfer to Memphis, founded by King Menes. It was the first capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom and was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years.
In Memphis, see the Statue of Ramses II, discovered in 1820 by Giovanni Battista Caviglia at the Great Temple of Ptah near Memphis.
Explore the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis, a stone sphinx near the remains of Memphis.
