Tour to the Grand Egyptian Museum
- After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned car to start your tour and visit one of the most famous museums in the world.
- Move ahead to the Grand Egyptian Museum. In your tour of the GEM, you will see Egyptian history ranging from the prehistory to the Greek-Roman period throughout 50,000 artifacts, some of them never exhibited before; some of these collections from the new excavations of Saqqara, the whole collection of King Tut, and the second boat of King Khufu (Solar Boat) for the first time.
- Firstly, you will enter the Atrium to see the colossal statue of King Ramses II. Then, you will move to the Grand Staircase surrounding impressive figures of the ancient Egyptian great kings.
- At the end of the Grand Staircase, you will find the exhibition halls, where the complete Tutankhamun Collection will be displayed. Besides the other four exhibition halls contain collections reflecting ancient Egyptian history. In the Grand Egyptian Museum, you will enjoy a unique experience; you will be able to use the Holo lens technology to allow you to interact with the museum collections.
