Itinerary

1. Day 01: Arrival in Cairo and Exploration of Ancient Egypt

   • Arrival at Cairo Airport: Meet and greet by our representative at the airport. Transfer to the hotel in Cairo.

   • Hotel Check-in: After check-in, begin exploring ancient Egypt with a visit to the famous Giza Pyramids.

   • Visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops (the largest of the three pyramids and the only surviving wonder of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World).

   • Visit the Pyramid of Chephren, the best-preserved pyramid.

   • Visit the Pyramid of Mycerinus and the Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop.

   • Papyrus Institute Visit: Learn how paper was made in ancient times, followed by shopping at the Papyrus Museum, Perfume Factory, and Jewelry shop.

   • Egyptian Museum Visit: Enjoy a two-hour visit to the Egyptian Museum, accompanied by our guide who will explain the history, with a focus on King Tutankhamun's golden mask.

   • Lunch: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

   Return to Hotel: After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

2. Day 02: Alexandria Day Trip

   • Breakfast: Have breakfast at the hotel before traveling to Alexandria.

   • Pompey's Pillar: Visit this famous monument, built in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century.

   • Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

   • Qaitbay Citadel: Visit this historic site, which was built on the location of the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria.

   • Return to Cairo: After exploring Alexandria, return to the hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

3. Day 03: Cairo Historical Sites

   • Citadel of Cairo: Visit the Citadel of Salah ad-Din, a medieval Islamic-era fortification built by Saladin. Enjoy panoramic views of the city from this strategic location.

   • Sultan Hassan and El Refaie Mosques: Explore the magnificent Sultan Hassan Mosque and the nearby El Refaie Mosque, both architectural masterpieces.

   Coptic Christian Sites: Visit important Christian sites in Old Cairo:

   • Hanging Church: One of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt.

   • Monastery and Church of Saint George: One of the few remaining circular churches in the Middle East.

   • Abu Serga Church: A significant site where the Holy Family rested.

   • Ben Ezra Synagogue: One of the oldest synagogues in Egypt, which has been beautifully renovated.

   • Lunch: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

   • Return to Hotel: After visiting the historical sites, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

   • Al-Muizz Street: Walk down one of the oldest streets in Islamic Cairo, featuring mosques, schools, and houses from the Mamluk era.

   • Khan El Khalili Bazaar: Visit this famous market for souvenirs, antiques, and local crafts.

   • Al Azhar Mosque: Explore this historic mosque, one of the most famous in Cairo.

   • Abdeen Palace: Visit the former royal residence, which also served as the office of the president of Egypt.

   • City Stars Mall: Enjoy shopping at one of Cairo’s largest shopping malls.

   • Transfer to Airport: After the day’s activities, head to the airport for your return flight home.
