Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

   • Welcome to Cairo, Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.

   Overnight at either Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino or Fairmont Nile City Hotel.

2. Day 2: Giza Pyramids & Egyptian Museum

   • Visit the famous Giza Pyramids, home to the ancient tombs of the Pharaohs.

   • Explore the Egyptian Museum, which houses thousands of artifacts from Egypt's past, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.

   • Optional evening Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids.

   Overnight at Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino or Fairmont Nile City Hotel.

3. Day 3: Saqqara & Memphis

   • Visit Saqqara to explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, one of the earliest pyramid structures.

   • Explore Memphis, Egypt's first capital, and visit the statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

   • Explore the Serapeum of Saqqara, the burial place of sacred bulls, and visit Teti Pyramid.

   Return to Cairo for overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Flight to Aswan

   • Transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan.

   • Upon arrival, visit the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk.

   • Check in to Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan and enjoy an overnight stay.

5. Day 5: Optional Abu Simbel & Philae Temple

   • Optional visit to Abu Simbel temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site carved from a mountainside by Pharaoh Ramses II.

   • Afternoon visit to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

   Overnight on board a Nile cruise.

6. Day 6: Kom Ombo & Edfu

   • Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to Horus and Sobek.

   • Continue to Edfu and explore the Edfu Temple, dedicated to the god Horus.

   Overnight in Edfu.

7. Day 7: Edfu to Luxor

   • After breakfast, sail to Luxor and visit Luxor Temple.

   Overnight on board the Nile cruise.

8. Day 8: Luxor - Valley of the Kings & Queen Hatshepsut Temple

   • Visit the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, where Pharaohs are buried, and the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

   • Explore the Colossi of Memnon.

   • Check in at Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor for overnight stay.

9. Day 9: Luxor - Karnak Temple & Flight to Cairo

   • Visit the Karnak Temple, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun-Re, Mut, and Khonsu.

   • Take a flight back to Cairo, check-in at Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino or Fairmont Nile City Hotel.

10. Day 10: Final Departure

    • Visit the Salah El-Din Citadel, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and explore the historical streets of Islamic Cairo, including Khan El Khalili Bazaar and El Moez Street.

    • Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.
