Faiyum Archaeological Highlights Tour From Cairo
Pick up from the hotel in Cairo and travel to Faiyum.
Explore Wadi El Hitan Protected Area, known as the Valley of the Whales by the locals as 40 million-year-old whale skeletons were found here.
Visit Mudawara Mountain and Wadi El Rayan Water Falls, Egypt’s only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by an overflow of drainage water from the farmlands in Fayoum.
Continue to Medinet Madi, an ancient city that dates back to the third pharaonic dynasty built by Amenemhet III and completed by Amenemhet IV.
Have lunch at a good quality restaurant.
Head back to Cairo.
