The area is renowned for its fantastic diving facilities, and the top dive sites include Elphinstone, Shaab Samadai, Sharm El Luli, and Fury Shoal. Also, there is plenty of wildlife to discover, including turtles, dolphins, reef fish and beautiful coral gardens. The beaches in Marsa Alam are second to none, with secluded areas, blue waters and swaying palm trees; it’s a vision of paradise and where you’ll want to spend most of your holiday. Away from the beach, though, you could head over to the port of El Quseir and see the ruins, church and port, and learn about the area’s fascinating history.
