Wadi El Natroun Monasteries Tour
- Your tour representative will pick you up from your Cairo hotel to start the program.
- Drive to enjoy Wadi El Natroun which is considered the heart of Christianity and know more about the history of Christianity in Egypt (around 2 hours driving). Wadi El Natroun area consists of 50 Monasteries but only 4 survived.
- Firstly, visit the oldest monastery of Al Paramus and it’s one of the famous monasteries in Egypt.
- Then, head to Anba Makar or sometimes called Anba Makaryus and it’s the first monastery in Wadi El Natroun Area.
- Next, proceed to Anba Bishoi Monastery, where you can find his body in this monastery.
- After that, go to El Suryan Monastery, the smallest monastery of the 4 monasteries.
- Later, return to your hotel to conclude the tour.
