Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, Citadel and the Felucca Ride
- Get picked up by your Egypt tour representative from your hotel in Cairo and start the tour.
- Transfer to discover one of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) and 3 small pyramids.
- Continue to explore the rest of the Giza plateau, including the sight of Khafre's (Kaphren) pyramid, the second-largest pyramid on the Giza site, the remains of the Funeral temple, the pyramid of Mankawra( Mykerinus) and 3 small pyramids.
- Proceed to the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates back to the time of Chephren.
- Pay a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramids of Chephren. This temple served two functions: First, it was used for the purification of the mummy of the king before its burial. Second, it was used for making the Mummification process of the king.
- After visiting the pyramids, continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands.
- Then, move to visit The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum, in Cairo, Egypt. It is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities, which dates back to over 5000 years of art and is considered the world's largest collection of Egyptian art.
- Explore the Citadel of Salah al-Din, which was built under the order of Saladin between 1176 and 1183 to protect the city from European attacks. Today, it is one of the main tourist attractions of Cairo and offers privileged views of the city, where you will see the view of all of Cairo,
- Proceed to the Mohamed Ali "Alabaster Mosque," which is considered the largest to be built at the beginning of the 19th century by the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Egypt for over 45 years. It is built in Turkish style.
- Head to the Nile River and enjoy a Felucca Ride for 2 hours and see the modern architecture and buildings in Cairo, including the restaurants and hotels.
- At the end of your Felucca ride in Cairo, transfer back to your hotel.
