Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Drive from El Alamein to Siwa

   • A representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo. 
   • Drive to El Alamein, about 3 hours of driving. 
   • At El Alamein, you will visit the site of a great battle during WW II and visit the WW II Museum and Cemetery.
   • Drive to the beautiful bay of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean Coast and continue to Siwa. It is about 5 hours of driving from Alamein to Siwa. 

   Have dinner in Siwa.

2. Day 2 - Siwa City Tour

   • Have breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the visit to the Old City of Siwa.

   • Continue to the tombs inside Gebel al-Mawta (the Dead Mountain), where you can see man tombs like SI Amon, MSW Isis, Crocodile Tombs.

   • Transfer to Abu Sherouf, one of the Siwa Villages, to enjoy Bedouin lifestyles, the Roman Spring and local handcrafts. Enjoy a spectacular sunset at Alawsut Lake.

   • Back to your hotel.

3. Day 3 - Temple Of Alexander, Cleopatra Bath, Temple of Aghori, & Siwa House Museum Tour

   • Visit the Temple of Alexander (the oracle temple) where he was known as the son of the deity of Amun, see the unique Cleopatra bath natural spring, and the Temple of Aghori dedicated to the God Amon- 26 Dynasty. Have breakfast at the hotel. Lunch is included.

   • After this, head on to see the Siwa House Museum. Then another recommended sunset view at the Fitnas Lake is possible.

4. Day 4 - Siwa Desert Tour

   • Have breakfast at the hotel. Start the journey at the Siwa Desert. First, stop at the Abu Ali Village, where the Tomb of Alexander the Great exists.

   • Cross the desert to stop near the unique archaeology sign at the Great Siwa Mountain, where the first human footprint was found above the mountain, dating back to the pre-history era.

   • Continue our safari between the dunes till we arrive at the fossils area and see the rocky coral reefs dating to the Cambrian era.

   • Drive to one of the spring eyes in the middle of the desert (Shitta Lake), and it is a good chance to watch the Flamingo birds. Lunch will be served. 

   • Then it's time for some sand surfing in the desert before we go swimming in the cold spring eye. Enjoy the bath and relaxing atmosphere.

   • Then it's time to be driven to another spring, a hot spring eye for chilling and tranquillizing our muscles.

   • End the day by watching a sunset in the desert with a cup of Bedouin tea.

   • Drive back to your hotel.

5. Day 5 - Depart for Cairo

   • After breakfast, head to your hotel in Cairo.
