Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cairo

   • Pick-up at the Cairo airport and transfer to the hotel.

   • Rest of the day at leisure.

2. Day 2: Giza pyramids and Museum

   • Visit the Giza pyramid complex, including the three great pyramids, namely Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure.

   • See the Great Sphinx, a reclining limestone statue of a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human.

   • Proceed to the Egyptian Museum, which houses the extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artefacts.

3. Day 3: Aswan and Philae temple

   • Transfer to Cairo airport and take a flight to Upper Egypt- Aswan.

   • Visit the Philae temple, an ancient pilgrimage centre for the cult of Isis (The Mother Goddess of Earth).

4. Day 4: Aswan-Luxor Nile Cruise

   • Transfer to Nile cruise boat (three nights on the ship), where we will stop twice on the way from Aswan to Luxor to visit the following temples-

     • The temple of com Ombo, which is an unusual double temple in Aswan. Its structures are constructed in such a manner to duplicate itself for two sets of gods.

     • The temple of Edfu is located at the bank of the Nile in Upper Egypt. It was once a cult centre of the falcon God Horus of Behdet (Edfu).

5. Day 5: Luxor city tour

   Visit the following archaeological sites-

   • The Karnak Temple Complex is a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other ancient Egyptian structures.

   • Luxor Temple- a large ancient Egyptian temple.

   • The Valley of the Kings, where the rock-cut tombs of Pharaohs were excavated.

   • The Colossi of Memnon, which are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

   • The mortuary temple of Hatshepsut.

6. Day 6: Luxor-Cairo

   • Transfer to the airport and take a flight to Cairo. 
   • Transfer to your hotel in Cairo.

7. Day 7: Departure

   • Transfer to Cairo airport and take a flight back home.
