Amazing tour to the GEM
- In the morning, after breakfast in your hotel in Cairo, our expert Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby.
- In your tour of the GEM, you will see Egyptian history from prehistory to the Greek-Roman period through 50,000 artifacts, some of which have never been exhibited.
- Some of these collections are from the new excavations of Saqqara, the entire collection of King Tut, and the boat of King Khufu (Solar Boat).
- Firstly, you will enter the Atrium to see the colossal statue of King Ramses II.
- Then, you will move to the Grand Staircase, which surrounds impressive statues of the ancient Egyptian great kings.
- At the end of the Grand Staircase, you will find the exhibition halls where the complete Tutankhamun Collection will be displayed.
- Besides, four other exhibition halls contain collections reflecting ancient Egyptian history.
- Do not miss the journey to the ancient Egyptian’s real world as you explore ancient Egypt's unique stories and secrets through a new experience in the HoloLens hall in the GEM.
