Itinerary

Day 1 : Quito to Lago Agrio to El Puente
Catch the flight (10:30 a.m.) or take the bus journey (one day before – 8 hours) to Lago Agrio (Nueva Loja).
Drive from Lago Agrio to El Puente.
Take a canoe trip down on Cuyabeno River to the camp place.
Go for an exciting night walk.

Day 2 : Boating in Cuyabeno River
After breakfast, paddle in a traditional dug-out canoe on the Caimancocha lake (Laguna del Caiman), and enjoy nature's uniqueness.
Eat lunch.
Hike in the primary forest and learn about the use of plants for survival.
Relax, swim and enjoy the sunset on the magnificent Laguna Grande.

Day 3 : Cuyabeno River
In the morning, walk to the Tarapuy Siona Community, the naturalist Ecuadorian guide will explain about the culture and traditions of the native people.
Do piranha fishing in the afternoon.
Head back to the camp.
Go for a night canoe trip in search of caimans (alligators).

Day 4 : EL Puente to Lago Agrio to Quito
Enjoy early morning bird watching.
After breakfast, go up Cuyabeno River to El Puente.
Drive to Lago Agrio.
Take the flight or bus journey back to Quito (16 hours).
