Description
Visit the northern volcano of the Ecuadorian Andes, located in the Cotopaxi Province, an ecological reserve. The beautiful emerald lagoon inside the 3-kilometre wide caldera, formed by the collapse of the dacite volcano following a catastrophic VEI-6 eruption about 600 years ago, will take your breath away.
