Description
This 3-day tour offers an exciting jungle experience in which you will discover the biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest and interact with the indigenous culture of the Kichwa tribe. You will enjoy navigating the river to the camping site, visiting a bird clay leak, and taking a walk to see the landscape of the jungle. You can join a day activity with the local people and learn how we still live sustainably in the XXI century.
Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Tena
- 09:00 am: Departure from Tena by car to the river.
- 11:00 pm: Arrival at the camping site- Arajuno cultural community center.
- 16:30 - 18:30: Walk in the jungle.
- 20:30: Options: Night walk or overnight canoe ride.

Day 2: Jungle Activities
- 06:30 am: After breakfast at 6 am, we will flow down the river to the Klay Leak.
- 08:00 am: Walk to see the landscape into the jungle.
- 14:00: Return to the campsite after lunch.
- 16:00: Traditional activities with the locals. Options: traditional fishing, handicrafts or chocolate.
- 17:00: Free time for yourself.

Day 3: Visit the Traditional Chakras
- 07:00 am: Visit the traditional chakras and learn about our jungle way of farming with the local indigenous people.
- 09:00 am: We continue looking for plants and harvest afterwards by preparing local food and having a traditional meal.
- 13:30: Back to the campsite to pack and prepare for the way back.
- 14:30: We take a motor canoe on our way back.
- 15:00: Arrive at the road to take the bus or pick up the way back to Tena.
- 16:00: End of the tour.
