Cotopaxi Volcano Excursion
- Connect with your tour guide, who will pick you up from your hotel/accommodation, to start the itinerary.
- Drive for around 90 minutes to reach Cotopaxi ranger station.
- From there, shift the car and get on a four-wheeler car to get to 14,700 feet.
- In 45 more minutes, get to the parking and walk to get to the refuge, which is on 16000 feet. Walking lasts around 40 minutes.
- Two hours later, drive back to the entrance and visit Limpiopungo lake, a place to walk and see birds.
- Finally, return to your hotel to conclude the tour.
