Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival Day in Quito

   • This is the arrival day for all of our tour participants; depending on your flights, you can have a day exploring one of the UNESCO heritage sites in the world (Quito’s Old Town) or simply rest at the hotel before our tour guide meets you at the Lobby at 6:30 pm for our orientation meeting and briefing before the starting of the tour. During this meeting, you can clarify everything as you might be concerned or curious to know about the overall tour. For the day, we can also assist you in arranging a full day in Quito or surroundings if you let us know in advance.
   • This tour normally operates from Quito; however, you can also start in Guayaquil if you prefer. Please let us know in advance.

2. Day 2: Flight to Galapagos (San Cristobal Airport)

   • Early flight from Quito to San Cristobal - Galapagos. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel in town, and then you will start a nice kayak tour to Tijeretas Hill ( Darwin’s first Landing) at Tijeretas Hill. You can admire the Bay as well as Frigate birds and blue-footed Bobbies flying around the cliffs. At the end of the kayak tour, you can walk to relax near the sea lions at Playa Man, enjoy the landscapes from the beach with a nice sunset, and finally back to the hotel.

3. Day 3: Kicker Rock Tour

   • Today includes some of the best snorkeling in the Galapagos and a day trip to Kicker Rock! After breakfast, a comfortable speed boat navigates along the coast of San Cristobal, boasting views of the birds and landscape from a different angle. At the rock formation, we’ll snorkel through the channel for various sharks, fish, turtles, rays, sea lions, and more! Enjoy a box lunch on the boat afterwards and some quiet beach time to relax before returning to town.

4. Day 4: Santa Cruz Island

   • Today, you will take a speed boat towards Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island ( it will take 2 hours approx.) Then you will get to the hotel for check-in, and the guide will take you to Charles Darwin Research Station ( this is the most important research center of the entire Galapagos ). Then you will have some time to enjoy the town and have a quick lunch before the next activity.
   • Then our Guide will take you to visit a Tortoise Ranch in the highlands of Santa Cruz, where you will see a very big land of wild tortoises in their natural state.
   • The rest of the afternoon is free to wander around the Puerto Ayora town, or maybe you can visit Las Grietas & the German beach (on your own)
   • Maybe a walk to visit Tortuga Bay (on your own)
   • Finally, you will return back to town overnight. 

   Tonight's Advice: Don’t miss eating at the QUIOSKOS street, a very fresh lobster and many different types of seafood caught in the morning. Also, go at night to the Pier, where you can see baby sharks, rays and many other animals very close.

5. Day 5: Enjoy a free day in Santa Cruz Island

   • On this day, you will enjoy the Galapagos on your own. Here, you have several options to visit nearby Puerto Ayora Town and around
   • Easy Excursion on your own:
     • Visit to Las Grietas - Alemanes Beach ( water taxi - short walk)
     • Visit to Tortuga Bay - Kayak at Playa Mansa (walking from the hotel)
     • Visit to La Playa de la Estacion ( walking from the hotel)
     • Visit El Garrapatero Beach  ( need a taxi )
     • Visit to Tortoise Ranch & Highlands ( 3 hours tour )

6. Day 6: Fly back to Quito

   • Check out at 10:00 a.m. and take transportation to Baltra’s Airport to take a flight to Quito and ride to the hotel in Quito.
