Itinerary

1. Day 1: Welcome to the Amazon Tour

   • Arrival at the lodge and lunch.
   • After a short rest, a walk to a beautiful waterfall.
   • Enjoying an energetic bath at the waterfall.
   • Observing medicinal plants, a lagoon, and the Huasquila tree during the tour.
   • Having the experience of hanging off a vine.
   • Return to the lodge.
   • Waiting for a delicious dinner accompanied by a "frog concert" from the lagoon in front of the Restaurant.
   • Participating in a chocolate session.
   • Learning about the chocolate elaboration process.
   • Roasting cacao beans.
   • Grinding the cacao beans. Tasting a delicious dessert with fruits.

2. Day 2: Jungle Trek and Kichwa Community

   • After breakfast, embark on a jungle trek (approx. 3 hours).
   • Trekking surrounded by primary and secondary forest.
   • Crossing a cave of 120 meters long, inhabited by fruit bats.
   • Proceeding to the waterfall "Golondrinas" with a native guide.
   • Immersing oneself in the waters of the waterfall, approximately 14 meters high.
   • Visiting a Guayusa plantation and factory upon return.
   • In the afternoon, visiting the Kichwa Community.
   • Participating in typical dances and cultural activities.
   • Learning about the preparation of "chicha" made from manioc.
   • Enjoying a dinner with regional specialties. Embarking on a 40-minute night walk around the gardens.
   • Observing frogs, grasshoppers, insects, and with luck, bioluminescent fungi.

3. Day 3: Visit to Misahualli and Canoe Ride

   • Departure to "Punta Ahuano" after breakfast.
   • Enjoying a full day in Misahualli with canoe.
   • Activities included in the program:
     • Canoe trip.
     • Walking to the Ceibo.
     • Visiting the Amazonico Rescue Center.
     • Optional activity: tubing down the river.
   • Visiting the Caiman Lagoon.
   • Having a box lunch. Returning to the port via river transport.
   • Concluding the day with dinner at the lodge.

4. Day 4: Goodbye Amazon Tour

   • We enjoy a delicious breakfast and check out.
