I have been dedicated to bridging linguistic and cultural gaps as a Japanese and English interpreter and translator since 1999.My journey led me to Tokyo, where I immersed myself in the study of Japanese at the Lantex Japanese Institute during a two-year stay.

Over the years, my linguistic prowess has manifested in the translation of over ten books from Japanese to English and vice versa. My academic pursuits extended beyond language, as evidenced by my two-year thesis in blood banking, involving 800 patients at the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña in Santo Domingo (U.N.P.H.U.).This groundbreaking research laid the scientific foundation for the implementation of the HTLV-1 laboratory test in blood bank regulations by the Dominican Secretary of Public Health.

Fueled by a passion for languages and tourism, I obtained a tour guide license in 1986, launching a career that saw me working in all of the Dominican Republic's tourist destinations and national [sensitive content]llaborating with tour operators from Europe, North America, and Asia, I represented renowned companies such as Italian Veratour, Presstour, Thompson, and Canadian Fiesta.

My academic journey continued with a Master's in Dominican History from the Santo Domingo Autonomous University (U.A.S.D.), complemented by Destination Management courses in collaboration with Italian Bocconi University and Spanish Antonio de Nebrija University.Drawing from my consultant experience in the USAID-Chemonics Politics and Competence Program (CPP), which covered DR-CAFTA, I became a professor at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE).At UNIBE, I taught courses such as Dominican History in the English Medicine Program, Dominican Tourism Geography, and World Tourism Geography.

Living abroad for short periods in England and Tunisia enriched my travel experiences and broadened my cultural understanding.I proudly hold the distinction of being the only Dominican professor who actively works as a tour guide for both local and international tourists.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I established the tour operator Legends of Santo Domingo, specializing in historical and customized tours for television documentaries, business trips, academic visits, journalist tours, and family reunions.I have created tailor-made historical tours named Legends of Santo Domingo® for various locations, including Santo Domingo city, the colonial wall, Colonial sugar mills in Nigua, and Around and about Santo Domingo.

My commitment to academia extends to private special history research, including a project for the Vicini family on the Sans Souci real estate and tourist project.I have also presented academic research projects aimed at developing tourist tours in the country.

Currently serving as UNIBE's short-term customized courses coordinator, I represent the university as a Pan-American investigation juror member in Tourism at CONPEHT 2013 (Bavaro) and 2014 (Lima). As part of my ongoing efforts, I conduct historical research for UNESCO on Dominican Republic inscribed sites through old photographs.
