Djibouti Whale Shark Tour
Departure from Djibouti City:
- Start the day early with a pickup from your hotel or designated location in Djibouti City. The journey to the whale shark spotting site takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by boat, depending on the weather and sea conditions.
Whale Shark Encounter:
- Upon arrival, your experienced guide will navigate the boat to a prime location known for whale shark sightings. The boat will drop anchor, and you’ll be equipped with snorkelling gear.
- Enter the calm, clear waters of the Gulf of Tadjourah, where you’ll have the chance to swim and snorkel alongside the majestic whale sharks.
Snorkelling with Marine Life:
- While the primary focus is the whale sharks, the Gulf is teeming with other marine life.
