On the way to Rothenburg, the other highlight of the day, enjoy the relaxing scenery of the romantic road along the Tauber River, old medieval walled villages, forested areas and vineyards. Walk on top of the high & mighty city walls, stroll through the well-preserved medieval town, or taste the "Schneeballen" local pastry. Look at the amazing Käthe Wohlfahrt Xmas shop, the pilgrimage church of St James with the Tilman Riemenschneider's Altar supposedly containing two drops of Jesus' blood or simply share the local hospitality and ambiance.
