Description
The highlight of the day is on your river cruise & the Rhine scenic valley. This is a great way to experience the unforgettable Rheingau region listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and comprising of romantic villages, pretty vineyards and medieval castles that frame the spectacular River Rhine in central Germany. From Frankfurt we drive up to Rüdesheim for a short walking tour of the town center and the world famous Drosselgasse and perhaps a visit to the "Germania" memorial offering great views of the valley, a wine tasting session or visit the unique museum of mechanical instruments. Boat trip up to Sankt Goar. Lunch in Castle Rheinfels, if required. On our drive back, we make a stop to visit the medieval village of Bacharach and one of these magnificent castles for an inside visit if required. A memorable day for a superb souvenir.
Itinerary

River Cruise & UNESCO Rhine Valley
- 9 am - Frankfurt transfer to Ruedesheim.
- Tour of the town.
- 11 am - Riverboat cruise down the river to Sankt Goar.
- Pass the UNESCO Gorges and the Loreley.
- 1:30 pm - Lunch in the Rheinfels castle or other if required.
- Return journey stopping in the medieval village of Bacharach and one castle.
- Visit of the medieval castle of Rheinstein.
- The tour can be operated in reverse, depending on the season and schedule.
