Explore the highlights in Munich, Füssen & Oberammergau
Meet the guide at 9 o'clock in the morning and depart from the centre of Munich, passing various sights in Munich. Learn about the history of the locations you will be visiting, decide whether you want to enter either or both castles and see it from the inside.
Stop at the Linderhof Castle first. Visit the beautiful gardens, tour the castle or have a coffee. Souvenirs can also be bought from here.
Drive past the artist village Oberammergau, known for its "Lüftlmalerei" painting and the Passion plays performed every ten years.
Reach Hohenschwangau, where you can have lunch at leisure and walk to the famous Marienbrücke bridge, from where you can take beautiful pictures of the castle.
Go to the Neuschwanstein Castle, located slightly uphill. It is possible to travel most of the way in a horse-drawn carriage or shuttle bus but for an extra charge. Else, you may walk.
