Learn how grandmothers for years would prepare meals for their families just as they did in the shtetl (Jewish market town). With your expert local guide and your own private professional chef, you'll have the unique opportunity to take part in the entire cooking process of a traditional three-course meal, from purchasing the ingredients in a local farmers market to preparing and cooking them to finally tasting the final dishes. After you have indulged in a beautiful meal, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks included, we will stroll through the vibrant Jewish Quarter in a 3 hour expertly guided historic tour, visiting several famous synagogues: The 13th-century Old-New Synagogue, The Pinkas Synagogue, The Klausen Synagogue and The Spanish Synagogue. We will end our tour with a wander into the Old Jewish Cemetery.

- The day will begin at around 8:30 a. m. when your guide and driver will pick you up from your location in a private car.
- We will head to the local farmers' market.
- At the market, we'll meet the professional chef and have an authentic shopping experience where we will buy the ingredients to make a meal of your choice (you'll feel like a local shopping in the 19th-century market!)With your chef, you'll prepare a three-course meal. Dishes include Matzah Ball & Goldene Joich, Hummus bil Lahme(Lamb chops) & homemade Pita bread, Shakshouka & homemade flatbread and the infamous Prague Strudel!
- You will also learn interesting facts about Jewish and Czech cuisine while cooking.
- Finally, you'll conclude by dining together and tasting your finished meals.
- Afterward, we will take you to the Jewish quarter for a 3-hour historical tour.
- We will view the interiors of four famous synagogues, the exterior of the Old-New Synagogue and take a walk through the Old Jewish Cemetery.
