Description
We will first visit Kourion, an ancient city-state, to admire its Greco-Roman theatre, the beautiful mosaic floors, and the bath complex. Driving west, we will discover the wonderful legendary birthplace of the Goddess of Love and Beauty: Aphrodite's rock. Cyprus has always been known as the 'Island of Aphrodite'. (AΦΡΟΔΙΤΗ=emerging from the foam of the waves). Paphos Archaeological Park is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for its outstanding ancient remains! Let's admire the unique mosaics of Dionysos and look at the pillar of Saint Paul, the ruins of the enormous Basilica in Cyprus, and the catacombs. Next, you may enjoy a break at the little fishing harbour for strolling, shopping and eating something. On the way back, we'll also stop in the village of Geroskipou (Holy Garden) to see the 1000 years old 5-domed church and taste the homemade sweets Loukoumi Delights. Itinerary

Full-Day Private Tour of Cyprus's West Wonders
- Meeting point: Limassol hotel area or harbour.
- Drive to Kourion to visit the archaeological site, the theatre, and the mosaics.
- Right after Pissouri village first, stop by Aphrodite's rock (viewpoint).
- 1 km further down the road, a second stop just next to the rock for a closer view and eventual comforts.
- Drive to Paphos, head for the harbour's car park to the south of the city (Kato Paphos=Lower Paphos), passing through the Upper town (Pano Paphos).
- After a walking tour in the archaeological park to admire the mosaics, you will have free time to enjoy the harbour and lunch (optional).
- Walk back to the car park and drive to the adjacent Geroskipou village.
- Return to Limassol.
