Description
Guanaroca Lagoon is a protected natural park where the camper while walking along the trails, will have the opportunity to see songbirds such as the mockingbird, the pitirre, as well as the woodpecker. Once the trails are finished, they will enjoy the experience of riding in a rowing boat (not motorized because it scares away the birds) with a specialist where they can enter the lagoon. You must have your cameras ready because this is one of the few places in Cuba where you can see the pink flamingo nesting.
On the City tour, the guide specialized in the history of the town will be able to provide you with historical information on the emblematic places of the city. You may have the opportunity to visit the Tomás Terry Theater, one of the three Cuban theatres of Italian style. The Ferrer Palace had the tallest tower of the time and right there the visitor can climb to take the most beautiful photos of the city, as well as the blue-green waters of the bay. If you want to buy a souvenir, Santa Isabel Street, the first in the city, is full of artisans with objects that will remind you of your visit to Cienfuegos.
