Itinerary

1. Day 1: Explore San Jose

   • Pick up in San Jose early in the morning.

   • Visit Braulio Carrillo National Park to see pineapple and banana plantations.

   • Eat a typical Costa Rican breakfast along the way. 

   • Arrive at La Pavona for a boat tour on the river, sailing into landscaped canals of Tortuguero.

   • Receive a friendly welcome at your hotel with a cold cocktail of fresh fruit. 

   • Explore the picturesque village of Tortuguero to see how the locals live.

   • Leave for a turtle-watching activity.

   • Enjoy a dinner buffet at your hotel.

   • Leave for Piscina, the most famous bar in the city.

2. Day 2: Tortuguero

   • Enjoy Costa Rican coffee and biscuits in the restaurant to start your morning.

   • Visit a forest in the morning, followed by your breakfast.

   • Explore the mysterious jungle of Tortuguero with your guide. 

   • Learn about the plants and wildlife of the forest and the animals that live here.

   • Next, go on an adventure through the canals of Tortuguero.

   Enjoy a dinner buffet at your hotel.

3. Day 3: Depature

   • Enjoy a healthy, typical Tico breakfast.

   • Check out of your hotel.

   • Transfer to the bus station.
