I've been guiding oficially since 1992.with a background on nature, geology and archeology.Started guiding in National Park Los Nevados in the heart of Colombia's coffee region where I grew up. Trekking, mountain biking and mountaineering have been my main and favorite activities but I have worked tour leading for long trips around Colombia during the last 3 years doing several types of tourism like: archeological, cultural, sun & sand, rural and nature trips. My 4 main guiding areas are: Amazon, Sierra Nevada del Cocuy, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (Lost City) and National Park Los Nevados mostly taking small groups on treks and mountaineer .Now I'm developing new routes and areas for special bicycle tours all over the country.I have a very good experience with MTB groups since it has been one of my favorite activities and part of my training.I work for the National Red Cross training  search and rescue teams and logistic support groups.
