Itinerary

1. Day 1- Private Cartagena City Tour

   • Start the day by meeting your guide at the hotel. 
   • Visit the Popa Monastery, the highest point and best 360º panoramic view of the city, learn about local religious traditions and customs and see Shakira's foundation to have an overview of Cartagena.
   • Next, go to the fortress of San Felipe for a 15-minute photo stop. Learn about the history of this spectacular military fort; learn about the Jenkin's Ear battle.
   • Then, see the dungeons that served as prisons and barracks for Spanish troops. 
   • Afterwards, go to the Emerald Museum and expect to see and learn about emerald mining in Colombia's panoramic of Bocagrande harbour. 
   • Finish in the old town walking and learning about the city, visit plazas and parks, learn about the Spanish in XVI Century, their cast System, Door knockers that denote homeowners' status and more.

2. Day 2 - Street food tour

   Try 5 different types of the best traditional Cartagena street food. Visit the best stands in town where you will flavor the best empanadas of Cartagena filled with meat or chicken, delicious corn bread filled with egg, amazing shrimp ceviche, the best local juice etc.

3. Day 3 - Bora-Bora Day Trip

   • Get to know Bora Bora, the most exclusive paradise outside Cartagena, experience the Rosario islands, enjoy wonderful beaches and warm water, enjoy the venue, have the best drinks, cool Djs, etc, all of this in one single place.

4. Day 4- Cartagena Aviary of Colombia

   The National Aviary of Colombia has 138 bird species and about 1,800 copies. Located 14.5 KM between Cartagena - and Baru, it is the largest aviary in America. Tourist attractions that promote the care of nature and the importance of environmental sustainability include the Harpy Eagle, the Tucan Caribbean, the Pink Flamingos, and Crane Corona, among others. It also has three systemic eco environments (rainforest, coast and desert) that support its wide variety of permanent exhibits. On this visit, we will be able to explore and learn about this wonderful place, visit all four different environments and see a bird show.
