I am NOT a general tourist guide.I am an experienced birdwatching guide.I have led tours throughout Colombia since 2008.I am based in Bogota and can organize everything from day or half day trips based out of the city, to extensive three week or longer tours that visit the remotest corners of Colombia.I mainly work in conjuction with the ProAves Foundation which is dedicated to saving some of Colombia's rarest birds and their habitats. 

I have led or co-lead tours in Colombia for a number of well known birdwatching tour companies including Fieldguides, Wings/Sunbird, Rockjumper, Ornitholidays, Tropical Birding, Eagle-Eye Tours and Ventures Birding.

I have also led or co-lead tours in Ecuador and Venezuela and would be able organize tours in those both those countries and also in Brazil and Peru.

I speak English and Spanish.As well as birds I take an interest in all forms of natural history including mammals, amphibians, butterflies and dragonflies.

I also like to point out places of historic interest and also enjoy discussing the intricacies of Colombian culture.This can include everythings from Bandeja Paisa (a famous Colombian dish) to the Wayu (an indigenous tribe native to the arid semi-desert Guajira penisula in the NE) and just about everything else inbetween!
