Itinerary

1. Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

   • Upon your arrival, you will meet your guide and driver and be transferred to the well-selected hotels. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.

   Accommodation: Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa (4 stars)

2. Day 2: Hanoi classical day tour

   • The first stop of your Hanoi guided tour is the Ho Chi Minh Complex, consisting of Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, stilt houses, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda. 
   • Then you will head to the Temple of Literature, which is also Vietnam's first national university
   • In the afternoon, your guide will take you to the Ethnology Museum, where you will learn more about the history, culture, and people of the region. 
   • Your guided day tour will round off with an interesting Water Puppet Show. After that, you could go to the Old Quarter to experience the local nightlife to fully relax.

3. Day 3: Transfer to Halong Bay, Halong Bay cruise tour

   • After breakfast, a 3-hour private drive will take you to Halong Bay. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the cruise staff and be led to check in your cruise. Lunch will be served on board while the cruise ship is sailing. 
   • In the afternoon, you will enjoy some heavenly caves and join in fun activities such as kayaking, diving, and swimming. Tonight you will stay overnight on the cruise ship.

4. Day 4: Halong Bay cruise tour, Fly to Hue

   • Early in the morning, you can join the Tai Chi class on the sundeck. After the morning coffee and a simple breakfast, you will disembark for a few hours’ land tour. Firstly, you will visit a local family to sample some of their home-made wine. Returning to your cruise, you will enjoy a well-arranged brunch and then the cruise trip tour ends.
   • Your guide will pick you up onshore to transfer you to the Hanoi airport, where you will take the flight to Hue. On landing, you will meet your guide and driver and be transferred to your hotel.

5. Day 5: Hue day tour

   • In the morning, you will take a private dragon boat along the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda on the bank of the river. Then you will come to the centrally-located Imperial City, the Hue Royal Palace, which is also called the Forbidden City of Hue, the capital city of the last dynasty.
   • In the afternoon, your guide will show you the Tomb of Tu Duc with 50 structures featuring the royal architectural style in the 19th century. Today's last stop is Dong Ba Market, the largest traditional trading market in Hue where you will get close to the local lifestyle.

6. Day 6: Transfer to Hoi An, Hoi An free afternoon

   • After breakfast, your guide and driver will drive you south to Hoi, an Ancient Town. On the way, you will stop at the most beautiful coastline in the world to take some photos.
   • Upon arrival, your guide will help you to check in your hotel in Hoi An, and then take you to a famous restaurant for lunch. The rest of the day is for you to explore the old town by yourself.

7. Day 7: My Son Sanctuary

   • Your guide and driver will pick you up early in the morning and take you to My Son Sanctuary. Here, you will learn about the famous ancient kingdom of Champa. After a 2-hour visit, you will be escorted back to Hoi An city. Your guide will suggest some nice restaurants to you for lunch. The rest of the day is free for you to stroll the old town.

8. Day 8: Transfer to Da Nang, Fly to Ho Chi Minh City

   • After breakfast, you will be escorted to the Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

9. Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City tour with Cu Chi Tunnels

   • After breakfast, you will first pay a visit to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. 
   • Later, you will be transferred back to the city and visit the War Remnants Museum. Here, you could visit many objects left by the wars and read some war history, from which one can fully experience the cruelty of the wars. 
   • Your last stop for today is the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace, and its nearby attractions.

10. Day 10: Transfer to Can Tho via My Tho

    • After breakfast, you will leave Ho Chi Minh city for My Tho, which is a gateway to the famous Mekong Delta. During the 2 hours’ drive, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery rice field and visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda along the way. 
    • On arrival in My Tho, you will change to a boat to experience the local life on the Mekong River, and visit some traditional stilt houses and boat building workshops. Lunch will be served on the island. 
    • In the afternoon, you will continue to Can Tho city by private vehicle and check into your hotel on arrival.

11. Day 11: Can Tho half day tour to Cai Rang floating market

    • Today, in order not to miss the busiest time of the Cai Rang floating water market, you will get up early. Firstly, you will be escorted to take a  boat for visiting the Cai Rang floating market. You will get close to the unique life on the water and have a chance to taste the local fresh fruit and snack. After that, you will be escorted back to Ho Chi Minh City.

12. Day 12: Departure and airport see-off

    • After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the airport according to your flight schedule. We wish you a smooth journey.
