Itinerary

1. Day 1: Chengdu

   • Start the day at Chengdu with a visit to the city centre museum. 

   • Then visit Chunxi Road, the most well-known and popular commercial area in the city center.

   • Visit the Eastern Suburban Memory. 

   • Then move to An Shun Cover Bridge. Located across the Jin (Brocade) River in the city, you can have a relaxing view here.

   • The day will end at Jin Li Folk Street. In the evening, with all the lanterns on, this street also known as Brocade Alley will bring you to the real beauty of ancient Chengdu.

2. Day 2: Mingshan County

   • Visit the Niu Nian Ping Tea Plantation located in Mingshan County, Ya’an city.

   • Take a slow walk in the tea mountain, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere there.

   • The last visit of the day will be to the Bi Feng Xia Giant Panda Base. 

3. Day 3: Mount Mengding

   • Today in the morning, you will hike to Mount Mengding, the birthplace of Chinese tea culture. Take deep breaths and let the fresh air wash all the gloom away.

4. Day 4: Yibin/Chengdu

   • Spend the day at the Shunan Bamboo sea located in the south of Sichuan Province, about 4 hours drive from Chengdu. This is the oldest and largest bamboo forest in China, with dense bamboo plantations complemented by winding paths, lakes and waterfalls. The beauty of this place has made it the filming site for many major movie productions!

5. Day 5: Chengdu

   • Visit the biggest ancient town in the south of Chengdu, Huang Long Xi. Dating back to the Qing dynasty, the town still retains its rustic charm with ancient buildings and cobbled streets.

   • Explore the Global Center, the biggest single building in the world.
