Hike Laguna Cayutue and mirador “Entre Volcanes” in Cochamo
- We will leave towards the east, towards the Andes mountain range. After 93 kilometres of magnificent road, we will leave our vehicle for 1h30 hours of easy difficulty hike to the Cayutue or Camutue lagoon. This splendid little lake is the ultimate reward, unknown, so few people embark on this hike which will give you an incredible landscape on your arrival. A peaceful and pure lake, bordered by forest and where the peaks of volcanoes are reflected in the water, a small unmissable lake in the south.
- We can enjoy ourselves a bit and eat our lunch box facing the lake.
- Then, we will go to Cochamó, on the banks of the Reloncavi estuary.
- From there, we will hike with moderate difficulty to about 1h00 to arrive at the panoramic viewpoint Mirador Entre Volcanes which, as its name suggests, gives us a breathtaking view of the estuary and the Osorno volcanoes and Yates if the weather is right for us.
- Finally, if you like it, before taking the road back to Puerto Varas, we can stop in the village of Cochamó for a coffee after our memorable hike.
