Explore the Cerro Castillo National Park and Villa Cerro Castillo
- Meet the tour guide and leave Coihaique at 8 a.m.
- Pass through the Cerro Castillo National Park, where you may catch glimpses of the Chilean deer. Cerro Castillo National Park is a park where you can find our Chilean huemul of the deer family and in Invierno, the part where more snow falls.
- Reach the small village of Villa Cerro Castillo. From here, begin the light trek on horseback (additional charges) or foot as you pass many small glaciers and cross the evergreen forest lenga ñire to reach the majestic Laguna Cerro Castillo.
- Return to the village by 4 p.m. to finish the trek.
- Head back to Coihaique.
