Portería/Portería Trail – Salto Grande Trail and Cuernos Viewpoint
- 07:00: Departure from Pto Natales, heading towards the Torres Del Paine National Park along Route 9, towards Villa Cerro Castillo.
- Arrive at the Portería Sarmiento sector of the CONAF at around 09:30 to begin our Trekking Walk on this trail for approximately 3 hours with a LOW/MEDIUM difficulty.
- Spot pumas, Guanacos, and other animals in the National Park and visit an area of rock art dating back more than 8,000 years.
- After arriving at our transport vehicle at the Laguna Amarga gate, move to the Sendero Salto Grande and Mirador Cuernos sector of MEDIUM/LOW difficulty with a duration of 2 hours round trip.
- See the part of the hydrographic system composed of Lake Peohé, Salto Grande, and Lake Nonderskjöld and appreciate a close view of the Cuernos del Paine and the Paine massif.
- Return to our van and head towards Pto Natales, arriving around 6:30 p.m.
