Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival Day

   • A guide will meet you at Maun International airport and transfer you to the lodge, where you can unpack, shower and relax. 
   • An optional scenic flight in the afternoon gives you a wide aerial view of the mighty Okavango Delta. (can be arranged on request)

2. Day 2: Maun - Nxai Pan National Park

   • We depart from Maun towards Nxai Pan National Park. Lunch en route! Close to Phuduhudu village, we turn north and enter Nxai Pan. 
   • On our way towards the campsite, we will already see a variety of wildlife like gemsbok, steenbok, ostriches etc.

3. Day 3: Nxai Pan National Park

   • Early morning game drive exploring Nxai Pan should reveal a large variety of animals. This reserve is home to springboks, gemsbok, lions, cheetah, brown hyena and bat eared-foxes and other migratory species like zebra and wildebeest, which move according to the availability of resources- water and grass. 
   • Time to relax in camp in the mid-day before we start the afternoon drive.

4. Day 4: Nxai Pan - Ntwetwe Pan

   • After breakfast, we pack up, and our route takes us towards Kudiakam Pan, famous for its cluster of ancient Baobabs, well known as Baines Baobabs. 
   • Lunch en route! 
   • Arrive in Ntwetwe Pan in time, so we can visit the meerkats and also have a nice visit to them in the morning before they start their daily activity. 
   • Sleep out under the stars on the salt pan. (Overnight Ntwetwe Pan)

5. Day 5: Meerkat

   • We spend the morning with the meerkat colony before we leave the salt pans, and it takes us to Elephant Sands. Arrive at camp in time, so you don't miss that beautiful sunset with a herd of elephants just a few meters away.

6. Day 6: Elephants Sands - Maun

   • After a delicious breakfast, we pack up and make our way towards Maun.
