Tour to Cachoeira
- Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location to begin the program and drive to Cachoeira.
- On our way to Cachoeira, we will stop in Santo Amaro to visit an interesting and bustling rural market, with its amazing fruits and vegetables and peculiar products.
- We will pass the Cathedral of Our Lady of Purification and its beautiful square in Santo Amaro.
- In Cachoeira, we will take a walk to see the typical colonial architecture and churches.
- We will stroll along the idyllic Paraguaçu river, one of the most important in Bahia.
- A good tip is to visit the Rosary Church and discover the wonderful Portuguese tile panels.
- Lunch can be done at a colonial farm, where we will have a beautiful view of the river and surroundings (check availability), or at a local restaurant in town.
- After lunch, we will visit a famous handmade cigar factory in the city of São Félix, across the river.
