Itinerary

1. Day 1: Ubim

   • Meet your local tour guide at your hotel for pick-up and transfer.

   • Leave your hotel at 7.00 am, to see the confluence of the two rivers.

   • Return to the car to continue travelling about 1-hour and cross over the Rio Negro bridge to a place called Ubim.

   • Get into a motorised canoe and navigate for about 30 minutes to the COTTAGE CAMP LODGE.

   • Upon arrival, receive a welcome drink made from natural fruits. 

   • Tour the flooded woodlands in a motorised canoe and see some animals and birds, sloths and monkeys (also you may have the luck to feed wild monkeys) with your Manaus tour guide.

   • Return to Cottage Camp Lodge for dinner. 

2. Day 2: Jungle Walk & Fishing

   • Anwer to the wake-up call at 05:15 am and leave at 05.30 am for an early morning tour (you may see a good sunrise).

   • Return for breakfast at 07.00 am.

   • After breakfast, prepare for your Jungle walk. Your guide will explain how to dress and what to take with you. 

   • Learn how to use the medicine plants and how to make souvenirs from palm leaves in the jungle.

   • After lunch, at 03.00 pm, leave Cottage Camp Lodge and do some piranha fishing.

   • See the sunset and return to the lodge to have dinner.

   • Go out in the dark with your guide to spot Caimans and catch one to take photos.

3. Day 3: Visit to a local home

   • Have breakfast at 07:00 am.

   • At 08:00 am, visit a small native family, to see how they prepare cassava roots to the flour and make Tapioca for you.

   • Return to the Cottage Camp Lodge.

   • At 14:30, go into the jungle to spend the night.

   • Learn how to make fire and prepare food (optional). 

4. Day 4: Swim with Dophins

   • At 06:30 am, return to the lodge for breakfast. 

   • At 08:30 am, go swimming with the pink river Dolphins. 

   • Leave the Cottage Camp Lodge at 01:00 pm and take the car to Manaus for a direct transfer to a hotel or airport.
