Get a pick-up from your hotel and meet an expert and local tour guide.
- Visit the Corcovado Mountain and Christ the Redeemer statue going through the Paineiras route.
- Enjoy the 20-minute drive to the base of the statue, which takes you through the Tijuca Forest and gives you a preview of the landscapes ahead. The statue stands 710 meters tall, and from this point, you have sweeping views of the city.
Head to the Sugarloaf Mountain. The cable car ride to the top of the hill is done in two stages: begin at the boarding station to Urca Mountain and then from Urca Mountain to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain.
Enjoy a buffet lunch to recharge your energies.
Continue to the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Arcos da Lapa with the traditional Selarón Steps.
